西丽·娜沙特个展“The Home of My Eyes” 一座城市的肖像

3月24日，YARAT以“Shirin Neshat: The Home of My Eyes”和它的永久藏品展，作为阿塞拜疆首个当代艺术中心YARAT Contemporary Art Centre的开馆展。非盈利艺术中心YARAT自2011年开始，已经委托超过80个项目；此次新建里的永久性场所将作为项目空间和展览大厅，并且还带有图书馆、礼堂和学习中心，致力于推动当地的艺术教育。

面对西丽·娜沙特的作品，观众毫无疑问会蜂拥至对比鲜明且印刷精细的巨幅黑白肖像系列前。图像中，有他们朋友的面孔——阿塞拜疆的同胞。受YARAT委托，伊朗艺术家西丽·娜沙特在2014年着手创作“城市的肖像”。阿塞拜疆是特别的，处于现今的土耳其、俄罗斯、伊朗、亚美尼亚和历史上的波斯、阿尔巴尼亚、土耳其帝国交叉的路口，它赋予其公民多样化的特征。娜沙特的作品体现了该城市公民心中统一的多元化愿景。展厅中悬挂着50多个来自不同种族的个人肖像，其年龄段在两岁到八十岁之间。娜沙特在过去的一年采访了当中的每一个，询问他们与阿塞拜疆的关系，他们对家的概念。而他们真诚的回答，变成了文字，化为精细的笔记，一行行被叠加在各自的肖像画中。

永久藏品展的艺术家有来自高加索、中亚以及周边城市的。与其相伴的国际艺术家的作品也出现在同一个展场，他们的作品与阿塞拜疆产生了共鸣。藏品体系已建立三年之久，并且凭借Suad Garayeva在YARATContemporary Art Centre策划的特别项目，它将被继续扩大。

娜沙特的作品也将出现在华盛顿特区赫胥豪恩博物馆和雕塑公园主要的展览上。从5月18日到9月20日，她的录像装置和摄影系列将在那，连同历史事件的上下文资料一起展示。这些事件发生于1979年的伊斯兰革命到2009年的绿色运动之间。
